Youth Volunteer Programmes

Kipawa Youth Volunteer offer the below underlined programs for volunteer youths to participate in,the programs are so defined to capture all the aspects of the volunteer work for the youths in various fields.

1.Health Care Programmes.

The requirements are based on your level of participation.  You will be allowed to participate at the level that you would in your home country.  If you are a medical student, you will be allowed to do only the same procedures that your school/university would allow you to do at home. If you are a pre-med student, then you can assist in a similar manner to that which you do as a volunteer in your local hospital at home.

2.HIV/AIDS Awareness.
These programmes require that volunteers take the Red Cross HIV/AIDS Instructor Training Course in their local area. This is the responsibility of the volunteer to arrange and attend. Our experts on the ground can alternatively train you before you embark on the field. Those coming to do research are encouraged to come and learn.
3.Cultural Learning Programmes.

Those interested to learn our cultural programmes are encouraged to participate. Those intending to learn Kiswahili plus other local languages before joining the communities are encouraged to come and attend the classes.

4.Youth Initiative Programmes

You do not need to have any specific requirements to participate in these programmes. However, one needs to be creative and enterprising to help the groups to grow, by coming up with ideas of establishing programmes that can sustain the young people. If, for example, you have sporting expertise/experience, then this is your area!
We also provide youth evangelism ministries for young people.  This includes visiting the prisons, attending to street children, community prayers to the sick people, and attending to the aged. All you need here is a passionate heart!

5.Gender & Development.
Any interested group/person who has the desire to learn about gender and development is warmly welcome, and no qualification or experience is needed.
